Our law firm is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Coverage Attorney to support our legal team across family law and housing law matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an Illinois licensed attorney seeking flexible, fully remote work with structured responsibilities and on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities

• 100% remote
• Appear in court remotely via Zoom for scheduled hearings
• Provide court coverage for both family law and housing law matters
• Draft legal documents, including motions, orders, and discovery materials
• Assist with discovery and case preparation in family law matters
• Communicate with clients as needed regarding case updates and requirements
• Draft and send court orders related to housing law cases
• Conduct a daily check-in to confirm completion of assignments and discuss any outstanding items

Practice Areas

• Family Law: Drafting, discovery, limited client communication, and court appearances
• Housing Law: Court coverage, drafting, and distribution of court orders

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Illinois (required)
• No prior experience required; training will be provided
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
