Application Support Specialist (Information Security GRC Tool)

Job Description

We are looking for a colleague who can act both as a power user supporting expert users directly, and as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development vendor. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding user needs, structuring them, translating them into technical requirements, and ensuring effective collaboration with the company developing the tool by: Providing direct support to develop and automate workflow to our international security/privacy community Gather and structure business/user requirements Operate and continuously improve the internal GRC application Define use cases and translate them into clear technical specifications Manage and prioritize change requests with our internal/external vendors Develop/automate workflows & reporting (Python / XML / Excel / SQL) Perform testing and validation (User Acceptance Test) for new features and releases Improve user experience and usability of the tool

Qualifications

Degree in IT, Engineering, or related field Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Power Query, advanced formulas, data modelling is a plus) Python scripting or general automation experience Basic SQL knowledge Strong analytical and structured thinking Fluent English (daily working language, spoken and written) Excellent communication skills across both technical and business audiences Customer-oriented, user-centric mindset Ability and willingness to work in an international environment Additional Information Experience in GRC, Risk Management, Information Security or Privacy Mgmt Familiarity with ticketing or backlog management tools (e.g. Jira, ServiceNow) Knowledge of data visualization / e.g. MS PowerAutomate Experience with vendor coordination or product/application support German language skills are a big plus *Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.
