Associate Key Account Manager – Remote, Automotive Electrical Systems (Southeast Michigan) Michigan, Remote, $100,000 Base + Bonus/Profit Sharing | Company Car | Career Growth Are you early in your engineering or technical sales career, looking for your next big step in the fast-moving automotive world? We are working exclusively with a top global manufacturer of ancillary cable management solutions, supplying major OEM and Tier 1 clients across North America. As part of their rapid team expansion in Southeast Michigan, this company is now hiring an Associate Sales Engineer to support senior sales staff on key automotive accounts. What's In It For You: Be the right-hand support to a high-performing sales leader, gaining hands-on experience with one of the most innovative and dynamic OEM customers in the region Work-from-home flexibility (must be within 45–60 minutes of Detroit), with frequent customer site visits and no mandatory office presence Structured, fast-track career growth: clear opportunities to move into senior sales/account management roles in 12–24 months as the team continues its expansion Salary in $100,000 range, plus bonus, profit sharing, and a company car (all expenses and fuel covered) Work with a market leader at the heart of automotive electrical distribution systems What Were Looking For: 2+ years experience in the automotive sector, ideally in OEM or Tier 1 supplier environments (applications engineering, junior sales engineering, or supporting technical sales roles) Bachelors degree required (engineering strongly preferred, but open to other relevant four-year degrees with technical aptitude) Exposure to electrical distribution systems, wiring harnesses, cable management, or related automotive products is preferred but not essential Motivated to learn the commercial side while collaborating closely with customer engineers and internal technical teams Strong communicator, proactive, and eager to build long-term relationships in a high-tech, customer-facing setting
