Responsibilities

• Attend/conduct depositions and participate in court appearances
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters
• Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and management
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, client communications, and discovery
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Assist in the preparation of cases for trial with opportunity for second chair trial experience if desired

Skills

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the State of New York
• 1 to 7 years of experience (salary commensurate with experience - range $100,000-$150,000)
• Superior analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Strong work ethic and commitment to client service
• Previous Civil Defense Litigation experience preferred
