region and nationally. Responsibilities: Provide remote diagnostic support for complex automotive issues across a wide range of makes and models. Analyze diagnostic data, scan tool information, and vehicle telemetry to identify fault codes and system malfunctions. Guide customers and field technicians through step-by-step troubleshooting procedures. Research and provide recommendations for repair procedures, parts, and technical service bulletins. Maintain accurate records of diagnostic consultations and resolutions. Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to identify recurring issues and suggest improvements. Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques. Develop and contribute to a knowledge base of common vehicle problems and solutions. Communicate technical information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Assist in training and mentoring junior technical support staff. Qualifications: ASE Certifications (G1, A6, A8, L1, etc.) are highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician, with a strong emphasis on diagnostics. Proficiency with advanced automotive diagnostic equipment, scan tools, oscilloscopes, and multimeters. In-depth knowledge of internal combustion engines, electrical systems, hybrid/electric vehicle systems, and chassis components. Familiarity with automotive network communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
