Behavioral Health Business Development Representative Commission-Based | Remote | Independent ContractorPrime Healthcare Billing & Consulting Prime Healthcare Billing & Consulting is seeking a motivated Behavioral Health Business Development Representative to support the growth of our company by building relationships with behavioral health providers and practices and introducing them to our billing and consulting services. This is a commission-based independent contractor opportunity ideal for someone who is confident in outreach, relationship-building, and business development within the healthcare or behavioral health space. The person in this role will represent Prime Healthcare Billing & Consulting, connect with behavioral health providers and practice owners, and help generate new client opportunities for the company. Position Overview The Behavioral Health Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying prospective behavioral health practices, initiating outreach, introducing Prime Healthcare Billing & Consulting’s services, and helping move interested providers through the onboarding pipeline. This role is focused on business growth, provider relationships, and client acquisition rather than internal recruiting.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Prime Healthcare Billing & Consulting professionally in outreach to behavioral health providers and practices
  • Identify and connect with prospective behavioral health clients, including private practices, group practices, and other healthcare organizations
  • Conduct outreach through email, phone, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and other business development efforts
  • Educate prospective clients on Prime Healthcare Billing & Consulting’s services, including medical billing, revenue cycle support, credentialing, and consulting services
  • Build and maintain relationships with practice owners, administrators, and providers
  • Generate and qualify leads for new business opportunities
  • Help move prospective clients through the sales and onboarding process
  • Maintain organized records of outreach activity, leads, and follow-up communication
  • Collaborate with leadership on growth strategy, target outreach, and business development priorities

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in business development, sales, client relations, provider relations, healthcare consulting, or healthcare operations preferred
  • Experience in behavioral health, mental health, medical billing, healthcare administration, or revenue cycle management strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and professional outreach skills
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and building connections with practice owners and decision-makers
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a performance-based role
  • Professional, polished, and comfortable representing a growing healthcare consulting and billing company

Compensation

This is a commission-based independent contractor role. Compensation is tied to successful client acquisition and onboarding. Full commission structure details will be discussed during the interview process. Work Arrangement
