Job Summary This is a full-time temporary role, 40 hours / week. The MGH Institute of Health Professions seeks a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Temporary Web Content Editor to support updates and refinements across the Institute’s website. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with content management systems—particularly Drupal—and a keen eye for accuracy, accessibility, and brand consistency. This position plays a critical role in improving the user experience, ensuring content is current, well-structured, and aligned with institutional voice and visual standards.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities Update and edit existing website pages in Drupal CMS, including text, images, and links in support of a content migration / reorganization project. Ensure content adheres to brand, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO best practices. Collaborate with web services team to publish approved content. Review and correct formatting issues, broken links, and outdated materials. Track and document content changes for internal reference. Assist with digital asset organization (images, PDFs, video links).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, digital media, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with a CMS, ideally Drupal 9/10. Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and style consistency. Familiarity with HTML basics, SEO principles, and web accessibility standards. Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and communicate effectively. Access to a computer and the internet. Preferred Skills Experience in higher education or healthcare settings. Basic image editing (Canva, Photoshop) and document optimization for web. Understanding of UX/UI and content hierarchy principles.
