Business Developer, Finland (IXON)

Your Role As Business Developer Finland, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our presence in the Finnish market. You’ll take full ownership of new business development—identifying opportunities, building a strong pipeline, and converting prospects into long-term customers. This is a role for a true “hunter”: someone who enjoys creating opportunities from scratch and turning conversations into commercial success. What You’ll Be Doing Identifying and targeting new business opportunities among e.g. Finnish machine builders Owning the full sales cycle: from prospecting and first contact to negotiation and closing Building and maintaining a strong network of industry contacts and decision-makers Collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales Support, and Solution Engineers to optimise customer outcomes Providing market insights and feedback to strengthen IXON’s go-to-market strategy in Finland What Makes You Successful You are entrepreneurial, resilient, and results-oriented. You are energised by winning new business and you’re comfortable operating independently in a developing market. You also bring: 5-8 years of B2B sales experience, with a strong track record in new business development A clear hunter mentality and proven ability to generate and close new opportunities Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Fluency in Finnish and English A proactive, self-driven approach with high accountability Affinity with industrial automation, SaaS/cloud solutions, or mechanical engineering (preferred) A valid driving licence and access to a car, with willingness to travel within Finland
