Business Development Representative (REMOTE)

We are looking for an energetic, motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to help grow our client base. This role requires a fearless attitude toward cold calling, door-to-door prospecting, and networking. The ideal candidate has previous BDR or SDR experience and thrives on identifying and generating new business opportunities. You’ll be on the front lines, representing Ledgr’s services to potential clients and helping drive company growth.   • Responsibilities:
  • Generate new leads through cold calling, door-to-door prospecting, networking, and other outreach strategies.
  • Follow up on inbound leads and convert them into qualified sales opportunities.
  • Build relationships with small business owners and decision-makers.
  • Present Ledgr's accounting services and partnership opportunities to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop new strategies for business growth.
  • Track and manage leads, follow-up activities, and communications in the CRM system.
  • Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR).
  • Strong cold calling and prospecting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Nice to Haves:
  • Experience in accounting or financial services is a plus.
  • Familiarity with small business operations.

Compensation

Range: Starting compensation for a Business Development Representative at Ledgr starts at $50,000 base salary, plus commissions and/or performance-based bonuses.
