Commercial Insurance Assistant ( Hybrid / Remote )

We are a commercial insurance brokerage. Our mission is to provide our customers with exceptional service as the nation's largest independent insurance brokerage exclusively serving the hospitality industry. We are seeking a new Commercial Insurance Assistant to join our team. Your role will be to assist our customer service team in meeting the needs of commercial insurance policyholders. As a member of the Commercial lines customer service department, you will work with Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives and report to our Office Manager. What You Will Do:

  • Electronically attach documents
  • Review commercial insurance policy documents for accuracy in rating, typing and coverage
  • Document discrepancies and/or errors in reviewed policy documents
  • Prepare written correspondence
  • Process endorsement requests
  • Issue certificates of insurance and auto ID cards
  • Process cancellation notices
  • Process invoices
  • Maintain electronic files in an orderly, up-to-date manner
  • Maintain regular, pro-active communication with service team members

What You Will Bring: Our ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of commercial insurance experience and the following credentials/skills:

  • Property and Casualty Insurance license
  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
