Job Description

Our ABA program is designed for students seeking their BCBA credential. To be eligible for the BCBA credential, candidates must hold a graduate (Masters) degree, complete the requisite ABA coursework, and accrue supervised fieldwork hours. The School of Education & Human Development will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers for future appointments to temporary, part time, non-tenure-track positions in the Applied Behavior Analysis Program. We are currently recruiting for the following courses: SPED 5450, 5470, 5471, 5480, 5481, 5490, 5491. This role requires experience designing and implementing instruction for graduate students with diverse experiences related to the practice of behavior analysis. Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications) Earned master's degree or higher in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field Certified BCBA (via the Behavior Analyst Certification Board) - current Teaching experience (at the undergraduate or graduate level)

Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis or related field Experience working with culturally minoritized children's families in schools or clinical settings Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ethical and professional conduct considerations required for practicing ABA. Commitment to social justice and conceptualizing the ABA practitioner as an advocate Evidence of understanding of mental health professions that serve clients with special needs. Evidence of knowledge of collecting and interpreting data as well as the importance of making data-driven decisions specifically for ABA. Conditions of Employment This position will teach online courses, each course will have a 1x/week required zoom class meeting. Class times are generally between 6-8pm (MT) but may vary slightly based on instructor availability. This position is fully remote, and the candidate can work anywhere in the United States. Mental, Physical, and/or Environmental Requirements The ability to sit for extended periods, stand and walk occasionally, reach with hands and arms, use hands to manipulate a keyboard and mouse, and have good near vision for computer work; often requiring minimal lifting, but may involve bending or reaching to retrieve items from shelves or drawers. Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position has been established at $5,000 for a fully enrolled course. Application Deadline Review of applications will begin immediately.
