The Role You will own every customer-facing word the brand puts out. Website, social, email, influencer outreach, and community responses. The brand voice is defined. Your job is to hold it consistently across every surface. What you will do Write and refine copy across the website, Instagram, TikTok, email, and influencer outreach. Set the tone for community responses. Adapt the brand's narrative across different formats. Hold one voice across everything, whether it is a short caption or a longer piece of website copy. Work to briefs and revise without ego. The voice you will be writing in The register is quiet luxury. Considered, restrained, and confident. It never shouts, never reaches for urgency, never tells the reader what to feel or do. It trusts the reader. It favours the specific over the grand, the understated over the elaborate. The best copy for this brand often says less than you expect and leaves something unanswered. This is not fast fashion, lifestyle marketing, or e-commerce copywriting. If your instinct is to drive clicks through urgency and aspiration, this is not the brand for you. If your instinct is to invite a reader into a world quietly, it likely is. Who you are A writer first. US-based, with US writing or work experience. We welcome both experienced copywriters with two or more years in fashion, beauty, luxury, or lifestyle brands, and exceptional interns who can commit to a minimum of three to six months. A major in journalism, creative writing, or mass communication is preferred, with strong programs including the University of Iowa, Northwestern (Medill), Columbia, Missouri, Syracuse (Newhouse), NYU, Emerson, Kenyon, and Sarah Lawrence. We care more about your writing and instinct than where you studied, but a background like these signals the craft we value. You can hold a brand voice that is not your own and keep it consistent across hundreds of small pieces. You understand restraint. You are a voracious reader. Mythology interests you. Jungian philosophy or Joseph Campbell sit somewhere on your shelf, in your saved articles, or in how you think about story. You are naturally drawn to quiet luxury and you believe in rational thinking. A Substack page you actively contribute to is a significant plus. Structure Remote, part-time, contract or internship. Minimum commitment of three to six months. Compensation commensurate with experience and an early-stage role. Start date summer 2026.
