Customer Service Representative

SB Clinical Practice Management Plan Inc is a healthcare service provider, and they are seeking a Customer Service Representative for their Pediatrics department. The role involves scheduling patient appointments, providing customer service, and ensuring accurate information management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • High volume appointment scheduling and phone calls
  • Schedule appointments following protocols
  • Obtain, verify and input all information accurately into scheduling system
  • Conduct insurance verification
  • Provide customer service to patients
  • Demonstrate courteous and professional behavior when dealing with patients
  • Resolve patient inquiries or escalate for solution
  • Routing calls to proper departments
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management

Skills

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent typing skills and friendly telephone etiquette
  • 6 months of clerical experience
  • Experience working in physician practice
  • Experience in a call center
  • Experience with an appointment scheduling system
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Bilingual in Spanish
