Position Overview – Customer Service Representative I (Remote or Hybrid)

As a Customer Service Representative I at careerzynith, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, handling inquiries, processing transactions, and providing knowledgeable guidance across retail, online, mortgage, and business banking products. This role offers flexibility: candidates residing in Miami‑Dade or Broward County will work a hybrid schedule from our Doral office, while qualified applicants outside South Florida may join us fully remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Outstanding Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous assistance that consistently exceeds service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain Call Productivity: Achieve and sustain call‑handling metrics and quality scores well above minimum standards.
  • Product Knowledge Mastery: Acquire deep expertise in retail, online, mortgage, and business banking offerings to answer questions confidently.
  • Effective Communication: Demonstrate active listening, clear articulation, and empathy in every customer interaction.
  • Problem Solving: Research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex inquiries, ensuring a seamless experience for each client.
  • Cross‑Sell Opportunities: Identify and recommend appropriate financial products and services that meet customers’ needs.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • 0–3 years of call‑center experience, preferably within retail banking or residential loan environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer‑focused mindset.
  • Basic proficiency with computer applications and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to meeting performance targets.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with online banking portals, mobile banking apps, or financial CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of mortgage products, small‑business banking, or credit services.
  • Certification in customer service excellence or related fields (e.g., Certified Customer Service Professional).
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
