DevOps Engineer (North America based, Remote) Full-Time | Remote | US Timezone | Sports & Media Sector Stadion is an award-winning global sports tech company providing web and mobile products and services to our brilliant clients, including English Premier League football clubs, national rugby teams, Olympic federations and many others in top-tier sports. We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer based in North America to bolster our global operations with 24/7 infrastructure support, focused on maintaining high uptime and fast resolution during North American hours. You’ll help scale our cloud platforms, support critical sports event delivery, and strengthen DevOps reliability across the board. Why This Role? You’ll be the go-to DevOps lead in the US timezone, helping provide continuity of service for global sporting events and giving crucial overnight cover to our core UK/European teams

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS: EKS, ECS, EC2, IAM, Lambda, S3, VPC)
  • Respond to and resolve incidents and data issues across live environments, particularly during US business hours
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (bonus: Terragrunt)
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD or similar)
  • Monitor platform performance and issues using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues, containers, and third-party integration failures
  • Write and maintain internal scripts and tooling (Python, Bash)

What We’re Looking For

  • Mid-to-senior level experience with AWS DevOps
  • Strong autonomy and communication — especially across time zones
  • Awareness of best practices in cloud security and access control
  • Comfort handling live operational incidents for high-profile clients
  • Bonus: Azure familiarity, GitHub admin experience
