Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our remote team in West Virginia. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through phone, chat, and email interactions. Responsibilities

* Answer incoming phone calls, chats, and/or emails from customers in a timely and professional manner

  • Conduct outreach phone calls and/or emails to customers to resolve issues and provide information
  • Provide outstanding customer service by listening to customer concerns, empathizing with their needs, and resolving issues in a fair and timely manner
  • Recognize and follow call flows with scripts to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Research and review customer inquiries to provide accurate and helpful information
  • Research information using multiple systems to resolve customer issues
  • Relay research findings and outcomes to customers in a clear and concise manner
  • Identify and escalate appropriate issues to management for further action
  • Clearly document call information and encounters in call logs to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
  • Recognize and alert management of risk and trends to ensure proactive issue resolution
  • Quickly transition from one task to another to meet changing customer needs

Basic Qualifications

* 2 years of customer service experience

  • 1 year of call center environment experience
  • 6 months of Utilities or Health & Public Services experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficiency with computers, including experience using the internet, email via Outlook, and data entry
  • Listening, verbal, and written communication experience
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams) experience
  • Internet access sufficient to handle calls received via the Internet
  • Quiet and private remote work location

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience with call center software and technology
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
