Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a temporary to permanent remote basis. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist – Health Insurance – Temporary to Permanent Remote, you'll be responsible for:

  • Researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner
  • Evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
  • Entering data accurately and efficiently into our systems
  • Maintaining high levels of productivity and quality standards
  • Collaborating with our team to resolve customer issues and concerns
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and customers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED (education verification is not required)
  • 1 year customer service experience in a health care or health insurance environment
  • Experience evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
  • Data entry and/or typing experience
  • Interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications and skills would be an asset in this role:

  • 1 year customer service experience
  • 6 months data entry experience in an office environment
  • Experience working with various lines of business, i.e., CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

Work Environment and Culture

As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. However, you'll be required to attend an 8-week paid training period at our office, where you'll receive comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this role. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and support, and we're committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and development.
