Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you'll play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

* Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and careerzynith policies.

  • Utilize careerzynith's prescription information access strategies and systems to register new patients, handle prescription requests, and enter orders for processing.
  • Troubleshoot missing prescription information, interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve data entry exceptions.
  • Handle correspondence with patients (inbound calls, chats, emails) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed.
  • Resolve 1/3 party rejects by reviewing, gathering facts, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
  • Make phone calls to insurers and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or resolve 1/3 party rejects.
  • Provide assistance to pharmacists, both those within the facility and those at other locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior management as necessary.
  • Obtain active technician license or certification within the first 90 days and maintain an active technician license or certification.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

  • Basic computer skills, including:

+ Starting and shutting down a laptop. + Using a mouse to click and navigate. + Starting and closing applications. + Transferring between programs. + Saving files. + Printing documents and accessing information online.

  • Primary search engine skills, including:

+ Opening a browser. + Typing in URLs in the correct area. + Using a search engine. + Bookmarking a website. + Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons. + Filling out forms online.

  • Intermediate keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, touch typing, formatting files).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

* At least 365 days of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.

  • At least 18 months of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration via state as granted by the state board of pharmacy or nationally recognized certification corporation.
  • Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients, including assembling pleasant standards for offerings and assessment of customer pride.
  • Intermediate to superior keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, touch typing, formatting files).
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
