Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Engineer to join our team, providing top-notch support for M365, Copilot, and SharePoint environments. As a bi-lingual expert, you'll work closely with clients to resolve complex issues, deploy M365 apps, and manage licensing and activation for Office applications. Key Responsibilities

* M365 and SharePoint Administration: + Administer and govern SharePoint Online environments to ensure seamless user experiences. + Implement and manage M365 Copilot and OneDrive for Business to optimize productivity and collaboration. + Develop and maintain SharePoint sites and related applications to meet client needs.

  • Technical Expertise:

+ Handle critical customer issues and work effectively in challenging situations to resolve problems efficiently. + Utilize technical skills for troubleshooting Office applications, particularly Outlook, to ensure minimal downtime.

  • Support M365 Apps deployment using SCCM/MECM/Intune/Cloud Update to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Office Product Management:

+ Manage licensing and activation for perpetual and subscription versions of Office applications. + Maintain software within fixed and modern lifecycle policies to ensure compliance and security. + Oversee deployment and configuration for Office LTSC and M365 Apps on Windows and Mac.

  • Migration and Upgrades:

+ Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud-based solutions to help clients adapt to changing technology landscapes. + Transition customers from Office 2016 to Office 2019/Office LTSC 2021 and M365 Apps. + Facilitate changes from MSI-based to C2R-based installations to ensure seamless user experiences.

Requirements

* Minimum of 10+ years of total experience in IT, with a strong background in Microsoft 365 and Office applications.

  • 5+ years of experience with Office 2016/M365 Apps, including proficiency in M365 Apps Admin Center capabilities.
  • Experience with Office for the web apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Basic knowledge of local and cloud group policies to ensure secure and efficient environments.
  • Experience with environment-specific scenarios involving third-party applications and add-ins to provide expert-level support.
