The Role

We're seeking a part-time Customer Support Representative to join our team for weekend overnight shifts (approximately 10pm-7am Friday and Saturday nights). As a key member of our support team, you'll be responsible for:

• Configuring and troubleshooting wired and wireless network issues for customers over the phone
• Recognizing and understanding how to configure customers' equipment to connect to the Internet via a wireless router, including connecting standard consumer electronic devices
• Providing exceptional customer service, educating customers on product and service usage, and recommending products and services to meet customer needs
• Conducting follow-up calls to customers with recent completed service requests or calls
• Replying to customer email inquiries
• Working with customers to sign up for new service and resolve basic billing issues
• Troubleshooting advanced networking protocols within the company network

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent education
• Previous networking or telephone customer service/support experience
• A basic understanding of computer hardware and software, as well as consumer wireless routers
• High ethical standards, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork, respect for others, and group decisions
• The ability to solve problems with patience and a positive approach
• Self-motivation, attention to detail, and organizational skills to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate:

• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
• Knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting techniques
• Familiarity with careerzynith's products and services
