About the Role

We're seeking highly motivated and team-oriented Customer Care Agents to join our 2nd shift and weekend hours team. As a Remote Customer Care Agent, you will have the opportunity to work with customers over the phone, on live chat, and through email, creating raving fans for blithequark every single day. Your creativity, problem-solving skills, and ability to think outside the box will be invaluable in this role. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to blithequark customers via phone, live chat, and email
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems when necessary
  • Work independently to solve unique problems and think creatively to improve customer experiences
  • Collaborate with the team to share knowledge, best practices, and new ideas to drive continuous improvement
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, response time, and resolution rate
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work 2nd shift and weekend hours, including Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications
  • Reliable internet connection, secure and quiet work environment, and ability to provide a dedicated workspace

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high volume of customer interactions
  • Knowledge of the lighting industry or online retail
  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software or other customer service platforms
