Key Responsibilities and Duties

As a Remote Customer Experience Agent, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone with professionalism and in a timely manner
  • Planning and selling transportation, accommodations, insurance, and other travel services
  • Cooperating with clients to determine their needs and advising them on suitable destinations, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs, and accommodations
  • Utilizing promotional techniques and preparing promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
  • Troubleshooting and resolving customer issues, escalating complex cases to the appropriate teams when necessary
  • Providing accurate, valid, and comprehensive information by utilizing the right methods and tools
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, processing customer accounts, and filing documents
  • Following communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Taking the extra mile to engage customers and build a loyal client base
  • Working collaboratively with team members to improve the overall customer service experience
  • Staying up-to-date with new products, services, and policies

Qualifications

To be successful as a Remote Customer Experience Agent, you'll need:

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

Skills and Competencies

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
