Our Cloud Editing team is responsible for defining and driving initiatives that enhance the quality of all careerzynith cloud technical content, while also providing publication oversight support to research cloud design content. As a Technical Editor, you will be part of a team that is passionate about creating high-quality content that meets the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Editor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting content creators by providing insights into proper formatting, fitting audience, and best use of language
• Advocating for clients by ensuring accurate, consistent, and reliable content that addresses client issues
• Improving and refreshing layouts and style guides for efficient workflows and helping to define and execute ideal publication processes for given projects
• Managing content cycles for high-priority projects across teams and departments
• Collaborating with editors from various teams to align on best practices and maintain functional alignment

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Four years of certification or comparable functional experience
• Two years of experience with specialized editing, specialized writing, or content management
• Experience delivering or editing specialized documentation for a technical audience
• Experience with Markdown

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

• Experience overseeing content projects, work prioritization, and stakeholder management
• Experience influencing others and organizing work to ensure tasks are effective and address client issues
• Experience with the Chicago Manual of Style and patterns in language usage
• Ability to work collaboratively with partners across various teams and departments
• Ability to manage individual needs in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to quickly learn digital writing tools
