Minimal Overnight Stays: Overnight stays are rare and only ever required if you choose to take them on. Make a Visible Impact: You’ll visit restaurants, bars, and grocery stores, many you may already know as a customer, and help them meet high standards in food safety and compliance. How Independent Contracting Works: You operate on a self‑employed basis, completing assessments on behalf of NSF. You are paid per audit, with travel expenses covered, where applicable. You share your availability, and visits are scheduled based on your location, experience, and scheme coverage. Work is offered on an ad hoc basis and can vary throughout the year depending on programme needs. It offers autonomy, flexibility, and the chance to shape your own workload.
