Fractional CFO/COO (Founding Business Partner) Early‑Stage Menswear × Technology Startup in New York, NY Our client is building a next‑generation menswear brand that merges luxury design with technology, sustainability, and co‑creation. Led by a renowned Creative Director with a global reputation for innovation, the brand introduces a modular, customizable wardrobe system designed to reduce fashion redundancy and empower consumers to cocreate their personal style. With prototypes developed and a strong creative foundation in place, we’re entering a critical phase: raising capital, refining the commercial model, and building the operational engine behind the brand. We’re seeking a Fractional CFO/COO to join as a founding business partner and help bring this vision to life. What You’ll Lead

  • Build and refine the business strategy, commercial roadmap, and go‑to‑market plan
  • Own financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and investor materials
  • Lead fundraising efforts and manage investor relationships
  • Establish early operations across supply chain, production, and commercialization
  • Partner closely with the creative founder to align vision with business strategy
  • Shape the culture, systems, and infrastructure for future scaling Who You Are
  • A strategic operator with deep financial acumen and early‑stage experience
  • Skilled in fundraising, investor relations, and financial storytelling
  • Experienced in menswear, luxury, DTC, or fashion‑tech (ideal but not required)
  • Comfortable building from zero to one — systems, processes, and teams
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and energized by working alongside a visionary creative leader
  • Passionate about sustainability, innovation, and the future of menswear Engagement Structure This begins as a fractional, advisory role with the opportunity to evolve into a more formal leadership position as funding is secured. Ideal for a seasoned operator excited to cocreate a brand from inception.
