Lewis Brisbois is a full-service AmLaw 100 firm actively seeking an attorney to join its General Liability Practice in Newark, NJ. The role involves handling all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, and trials, with a focus on representing defendants in significant exposure cases.
Responsibilities
- Strong research and writing skills
- Experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation including case management, motion practice, and discovery
- Handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
Skills
- Strong research and writing skills
- At least one (1) to seven (7) years of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation including case management, motion practice, and discovery
- Experience handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
- Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required
- Admission to the New York and/or Pennsylvania Bars is a plus
- Some insurance defense experience
- Some experience in professional liability law
