Location: This position is remote but must live within 30 minutes of a branch office. Schedule: Friday 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Saturday & Sunday 8:30am - 5:00 pm Monday 8:30 am - 2:00 pm

• Your Role as an Intake Specialist:
• Serve as the first step in the patient care process by managing incoming referrals and ensuring all required documents and orders are complete.
• Process referrals with precision, handling a high volume of documents efficiently.
• Collaborate regularly with the operations team and sales department to ensure seamless coordination.
• Key responsibilities include:
• Processing new patient intakes.
• Conducting eligibility and benefit checks.
• Navigating EMR systems and other acceptance portals.
• Communicating with sales, operations, and referral sources.
• Managing and reconciling insurance changes on a weekly basis.
• Qualifications:
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
• Detail-oriented and capable of performing repetitive tasks efficiently.
• Experience with medical intake processes (preferred).
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and insurance portals (preferred)
