Remote Position In this role, the National Sales Manager is responsible for contracting Master Service Agreements with emerging food service brands, large regional accounts, and assigned national account opportunities. Duties & Responsibilities: Identify, prospect, negotiate and close high value contract opportunities Develop proposals for present to prospective chain prospects of 75+ locations Maintain customer and prospect relationships through proactive communication and a pipeline management system Manage and initiate complex proposals and service agreements for new and existing customers. Successfully achieve sales targets as established by senior leadership Directly manage all aspects of the premier account prospect pipeline and provide accurate / timely forecasts and status updates on an ongoing basis Utilize Company’s sales tools and prospect white space list to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with the corporate office staff and all cross departmental teammates To perform successfully, you should demonstrate the following attributes: Energetic self-starter with the desire to succeed Self-disciplined individual, who can manage a sales pipeline from a home-office base Successful in prospecting new customers Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Possess an outgoing, friendly personality Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred Five or more years outside sales experience Creative and skilled sales leader who has experience in business-to-business sales, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry Results oriented sales leader with a proven record of exceeding sales targets, who possesses strong work ethic, and excellent sales, negotiation, communication and people skills Strong problem solving, analytical and organizational skills Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills Proficient computer skills.
