Part-Time Pet Care Professional
Flexible Daytime Hours | Hingham, Cohasset, North & East Weymouth Heidi's Hounds is the South Shore's premier in-home pet sitting and dog walking company. Since 2016, we've built our reputation on exceptional client service, reliability, and outstanding care for the pets entrusted to us. We're looking for dependable, responsible individuals who enjoy working independently and are seeking flexible supplemental income. This position is ideal for teachers, retirees, empty nesters, remote workers, stay-at-home parents, college students with daytime availability, and anyone looking for meaningful part-time work.
What You'll Do
- Visit client homes to walk dogs and care for pets in their own environment
- Provide fresh water, meals, medications (when applicable), and companionship
- Complete detailed visit reports through our pet care app
- Drive between client homes throughout the day
- Work independently while being supported by our office team
Requirements
- Live in or adjacent to Hingham, Cohasset, North Weymouth, or East Weymouth
- Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Own a smartphone and be comfortable using mobile apps
- Be comfortable working outdoors in all New England weather conditions
- Be able to walk dogs of all sizes
- Pass a background check
- Be extremely reliable and dependable
This is not a desk job. You'll spend your day driving between client homes, caring for pets, and working independently. Our clients trust us with their homes and beloved pets, so reliability and professionalism are essential.
Compensation
- $21-$23 per hour
- 70 cents per mile mileage reimbursement
- Keep 100% of your tips
- Flexible scheduling based on your committed availability
