Â Â Job title Academic Advisor I - Graduate (S04831P) Company University of Texas at Arlington Job description Provide academic advisement to reputed company and prospective graduate reputed company pursuing online and on reputed company graduate programs by participating in the planning and conveyance of academic advising/counseling services and programs that promote comprehensive educational opportunities for reputed company reputed company. Process graduate student admissions. Provide professional advisement through an assigned student caseload offering guidance and information to supplement and enhance the academic experience, student retention, and completion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide complete and accurate academic advisement to reputed company and prospective graduate reputed company who wish to pursue graduate programs. Process graduate student admissions by maintaining numerous spreadsheets, collecting required TEA student documents, entering Basis of Admission provided by graduate admission's committees, and emailing welcome materials to new student admits. Provide guidance on academic topics such as degree requirements, relevant course selection, and provide reputed company with assistance in setting and achieving educational and career goals. Help reputed company reputed company informed academic decisions teaching them how to track their own academic reputed company, locate and interpret appropriate policies, and use available tools and resources available. Analyze and interpret student data, transcripts, and placement results. Enter advising notes into MyMav following best practices for documenting student appointments/contacts. Prepare for and document appointments, answer emails, complete degree audits, process add/drop forms. Advisor may regularly be scheduled to work reputed company of normal business hours. Maintain a clear understanding of reputed company applicable federal, state, and University policies and procedures. reputed company informed of relevant academic programs and support services such as counseling and tutoring reputed company a College and University and provide appropriate referrals to reputed company. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field or equivalent relevant experience. Excellent communication skills. Experience with MS Office (Word, reputed company, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in reputed company field with one (1) year of experience working with reputed company or adolescents in an advising reputed company or the equivalent experience. Accuracy in evaluating and articulating information on reputed company to faculty and administrators and in interpreting institutional rules and regulations and other information. Experience in admissions and/or recruitment of college/university reputed company. Knowledge in reputed company (TEA) policy.
