The Role As a Product Designer at Edovo, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to create intuitive, engaging, and humanizing product experiences for incarcerated individuals and those connected to incarceration. GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with Product Managers and other stakeholders to shape a cohesive design vision across multiple applications Use a variety of user research methods and metrics to inform your decisions and approach Lead discovery and ideation activities such as design workshops, usability/accessibility audits of existing features, and competitive reviews Rapidly prototype and test design ideas to identify design solutions that balance user needs, business objectives, and system constraints Work closely with engineers as they implement designs, sharing research findings, and collaboratively work to bring a cohesive design vision to Edovo’s applications Be a voice and domain expert for best practices around user experience (information hierarchy, accessibility, interactions, and visual design) Identify and troubleshoot UX problems

Qualifications

MUST-HAVES A portfolio that demonstrates effective design, collaboration, and problem solving Fluency with design tools needed to build software products Experience with user research and testing Creative, curious, and collaborative Hands on problem solver that relies on data to make decisions 3+ years of UI / UX design and research experience Comfort with ambiguity; ability to work independently Excitement to scale design best practices NICE-TO-HAVES Previous experience with at risk populations or carceral spaces Experience designing in the educational space Flexibility to design without frequent direct customer access Experience working with UI frameworks Experience working with B2B2C products Curiosity about AI-assisted tooling Other Details Location: Remote Salary: Commensurate with experience Department: Role reports to the VP of Product Travel Requirements: Up to 15%. The amount of travel required for this position will vary over time and includes customer visits, industry conferences, and bi-annual company retreats in the Spring and Fall.
