They have been in business for over 25 years, with over 500 employees across multiple business units, including several production facilities. They manufacture their own sensor products, provide electronics assembly for other customers, and own multiple product lines that provide long-term stability and diversification. While much of the focus will be on larger consultative manufacturing opportunities, there is also the ability to grow accounts through additional component and electronic solution sales. This business unit offers a more entrepreneurial environment with strong leadership support, less bureaucracy, and significant autonomy. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys consultative, technical B2B sales and is accustomed to longer sales cycles. Candidates who thrive in transactional or short-cycle sales environments may not be the best fit. Most travel will consist of local day trips, offering a strong work/life balance with minimal overnight travel.   • Drive new business opportunities within electronic manufacturing services market
  • Deliver technical and commercial presentations both virtually and in person
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies to meet revenue goals
  • Qualify opportunities, negotiate commercial terms, and respond to inquiries
  • Identify key decision-makers and build long-term customer partnerships
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, operations, and leadership teams to
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer partnerships
  • Prepare and maintain sales activity and pipeline reports
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
  • Meet revenue targets and measurable business development KPIs

[REMOTE] Business Development Manager – OEM & Manufacturing Solutions Qualifications

  • Experience selling engineered manufacturing solutions, electromechanical products, electronic assemblies, industrial automation, or other complex OEM-focused hardware solutions required
  • Experience navigating sales cycles lasting six months or longer required
  • Proven success developing new OEM accounts required
  • Ability to travel 3–4 days per week (typically day trips); less than 5% overnight travel
