The role involves contributing to various missile launching system programs, focusing on reliability and maintainability engineering tasks, including analysis and design support, requirements analysis, and collaboration with senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and design support for programs
• Requirements analysis, interface analysis, and operations analysis
• Reliability test and verification
• Collaboration with senior engineers to ensure reliability is crafted into products

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM related discipline, or equivalent combination of education/experience
• One or more years of engineering experience
• Experience with Systems Engineering or related engineering experience
• Must be able to obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance
• Experience with Reliability and Maintainability Analysis or related analysis engineering experience
• Familiarity with sonar system hardware or Solid State Radar
• Experience communicating and working with DoD personnel
• Understanding of physics of failure and equipment failure troubleshooting
• Experience with large scale system development, integration, and tests
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in model base engineering (MBE)

• Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
• Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
• Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
