[Remote] Account Executive, Mid Market

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tekmetric is the all-in-one, cloud-based platform helping auto repair shops run smarter, grow faster, and serve customers better. The Account Executive will own the full sales cycle, targeting multi-location auto repair groups and independent shops, while developing strategies to articulate the company's value proposition and drive customer success.

Responsibilities

  • We're looking for a high-energy, self-motivated AE to own the full sales cycle — targeting multi-location auto repair groups and independent shops ready to scale, with a goal of 2/3 accounts per month, averaging 15-20 rooftops
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close
  • Navigate multiple 8-10 stakeholders to identify decision-makers and move deals forward
  • Develop creative outreach strategies and articulate Tekmetric's value proposition to shop owners and operators. Inform product and marketing strategy
  • Surface pain points and business objectives of prospective shop owners and multi-rooftop operators
  • Share data-driven insights with Product and Operations to improve sales velocity and adoption. Enable customer success
  • Partner with Onboarding on results-based Proof of Concepts and ensure seamless sales-to-implementation handoffs
  • Introduce new clients to their Customer Success Manager, setting them up for long-term value and sub-1% churn. Own your pipeline
  • Actively prospect, request referrals, and nurture relationships to build a healthy, self-sourced pipeline
  • Build your reputation in the auto repair community and represent Tekmetric at local and national roadshows

Skills

  • 3–5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience in a mid-market or full-cycle closing role
  • Self-motivated and able to create your own structure — non-negotiable
  • Project mindset: can manage a complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycle with discipline
  • Strong communicator, active listener, and problem solver with sharp time management
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% — non-negotiable
  • Auto service industry knowledge strongly preferred — understanding how shops and SMS platforms operate is a significant advantage
  • Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
