Cardinal Health is seeking an Advisor, Data Management & Governance Technical Writer to enhance their Data Management capabilities with a focus on improving metadata quality in Collibra. The role involves proofreading and editing metadata content, creating style guides and SOPs, and coaching teams on best practices in metadata management.

Responsibilities

• Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
• Proofreading/editing of metadata related content in Collibra. (No technical expertise in Collibra is required.)
• Create writing style-guide for Collibra
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Perform audits of existing content in Collibra based on style-guide
• Ensure processes are being followed and documentation is being maintained
• Maintain metadata records in Collibra in support of Enterprise Data Management initiatives
• Support data stewards on the use of Collibra
• Support the creation of learning materials
• Focus on metadata quality and drive improvement
• Coach, mentor, advise on best practices related to metadata management
• Partner with other teams to improve processes

Skills

• 4-8 years of experience
• BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field
• Technical writing skills
