About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on the implementation of sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices, including cover cropping, no-till farming, crop rotation, and integrated nutrient management. Develop customized sustainability plans tailored to individual farm operations, considering environmental, social, and economic factors. Educate clients on the benefits and technical aspects of various sustainability initiatives, providing practical guidance for adoption. Collect and analyze data related to soil health, water usage, biodiversity, and carbon sequestration to measure the impact of implemented practices. Stay current with the latest research, technologies, and policy developments in sustainable and regenerative agriculture. Collaborate with internal experts, researchers, and external partners to provide comprehensive solutions. Develop training materials, webinars, and resources to support client education and engagement. Assist clients in navigating sustainability certifications and reporting frameworks. Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients through virtual communication and support.

Requirements

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Agronomy, Soil Science, Environmental Science, Agricultural Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural consulting, agronomy, or a sustainability-focused role within the agriculture sector. Deep understanding of sustainable and regenerative agriculture principles and practices. Proficiency in analyzing agricultural data and assessing environmental impacts. Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills, adapted for remote interaction. Strong ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment. Familiarity with carbon farming, soil health assessments, and life cycle analysis is highly desirable. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client support. Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
