[Remote] AI Platform Engineer (AZURE)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lumen Solutions Group Inc. is a technology consulting services company based in Florida, specializing in IT consulting and staffing. They are seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and manage secure AI platform infrastructure in a regulated healthcare environment, focusing on compliance and scalable AI development.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy secure AI cloud infrastructure using Azure, Terraform/Bicep, ARM, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions
- Configure and manage AI services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AI Search, MuleSoft, Salesforce Agentforce, Anthropic, and OpenAI
- Implement governance controls including RBAC, Azure Policy, network security, secrets management, audit logging, and policy-as-code
- Develop reusable platform modules, landing zones, templates, and self-service capabilities for engineering teams
- Monitor platform performance, reliability, security, and cloud costs while supporting incident resolution and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with architects, governance teams, and product owners to deliver compliant, scalable AI platform capabilities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of cloud platform engineering experience with 2+ years in Microsoft Azure
- Hands-on experience with Terraform/Bicep, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, & IAC
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, vector databases, model gateways, or similar AI platforms
- Strong Knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, encryption, secrets management, & security best practices
- Experience implementing compliance controls in regulated environments such as HIPAA or PCI
- Experience with MuleSoft, Salesforce Agentforce, RAG architectures, document intelligence, and Agentic AI
- Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and AI governance frameworks
- Azure certifications (AZ-305, AZ-400, AI-102) or MuleSoft/Salesforce certifications are a plus
