[Remote] Bookkeeping and Administrative Unicorn

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TeKoda Accounting is a fully remote team that values quality work and strong client relationships. They are seeking a skilled accounting professional to manage a portfolio of clients, handling various accounting tasks including bookkeeping, AR, AP, and payroll with a focus on accuracy and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records across a portfolio of clients in multiple accounting systems
  • Handle Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, collections, aging follow-up, and reconciliation
  • Process Accounts Payable including vendor invoice review, payment runs, and matching
  • Run payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements
  • Perform complex reconciliations including bank, intercompany, and account-level reconciliations
  • Post and review accruals, adjusting entries, and other period-end journal entries
  • Communicate proactively with clients and teammates when issues arise or clarification is needed
  • Contribute to a team culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Skills

  • 2 or more years of hands-on accounting experience covering AR, AP, and/or payroll
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO) proficiency is required
  • Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously across different accounting systems
  • Ability to perform complex accounting work including accruals and intercompany reconciliations
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow through without prompting
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while staying closely connected to the team
  • US-based and authorized to work in the US
  • Experience at a bookkeeping or accounting firm serving multiple clients
  • Familiarity with additional platforms such as Gusto, ADP, Paychex, or other cloud-based tools
  • QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification or similar credential
