[Remote] Business Development Director

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Acclime is a premier corporate and advisory services provider helping companies expand across Asia-Pacific. They are seeking a Business Development Director to drive outbound business development from the US into North Asia, focusing on building strategic partnerships and generating new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Partnership development: Build and nurture strategic partnerships with intermediaries such as law firms, accounting firms and other professional advisors
  • Lead generation: Leverage personal networks, industry conferences and events to generate new business opportunities
  • Client acquisition: Identify and engage US-based companies seeking to expand into China and Asia or scale existing operations
  • Brand building: Actively promote Acclime’s brand in the US market through thought leadership, networking and visibility at key industry events
  • Market expertise: Provide insights into regulatory, cultural and operational challenges for clients entering North Asia markets
  • Revenue growth: Drive measurable business outcomes through proactive outreach and relationship management

Skills

  • Proven track record in business development, preferably in professional services or consulting
  • Must have lived in North Asia (China, Hong Kong, Korea or Japan) with strong regional networks
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with US-based corporates and intermediaries
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates with a legal or accounting background preferred
