Responsibilities

• Simultaneous work on a minimum of 2-3 projects at various stages of development
• Prepares project designs and construction documents using BIM software and equipment
• Prepares various documents during the course of the project development including meeting minutes, project specifications, agency applications, etc
• Visit project sites under the direction of a supervisor and assist with the documentation of findings, if needed
• Research materials, assemblies, or building codes for appropriate incorporation into design and construction drawings as directed by a supervisor
• Integrate information from consultants and suppliers into Revit Models for documentation
• Assist in the processing of contractor submittals and RFIs by logging in the documents and routing them to the appropriate party for review
• Attend, record, and distribute meeting minutes and assist with general project correspondence if needed
• Assist or prepare graphic materials for presentation or documents
• Select and prepare material finish boards/binders
• Some travel to construction job sites and client meetings

Skills

• Currently enrolled in a college program related to Architecture or Landscape Architecture
• Graduating within the next 12 months
• Ability to work on a minimum of 2-3 projects simultaneously
• Experience with BIM software and equipment
• Ability to prepare project designs and construction documents
• Ability to prepare various documents during project development including meeting minutes and project specifications
• Willingness to visit project sites and assist with documentation
• Ability to research materials, assemblies, or building codes
• Experience integrating information from consultants and suppliers into Revit Models
• Ability to assist in processing contractor submittals and RFIs
• Ability to attend, record, and distribute meeting minutes
• Ability to assist or prepare graphic materials for presentations
• Ability to select and prepare material finish boards/binders
• Willingness to travel to construction job sites and client meetings
• Legally authorized to work for Huitt-Zollars in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
