[Remote] DevOps & Release Engineering Manager

JFC Global is a well-established enterprise seeking an experienced DevOps and Release Engineering Manager to oversee the software build, test, and shipping processes across various environments. This hands-on leadership role involves managing a team of engineers, driving automation improvements, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals while reporting to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • You'll lead a team of DevOps and Release Engineers and be the go-to owner for CI/CD tooling, release governance, and deployment standards across the organization
  • Day-to-day, that means driving automation improvements, managing complex multi-platform releases, and making sure your team has the support and structure to do their best work
  • You'll also work closely with architecture, security, and product teams to keep delivery pipelines aligned with broader organizational goals- and you'll report progress and risk upward to executive leadership
  • Beyond keeping the lights on, you'll be expected to push things forward: retiring legacy tools, improving deployment frequency, reducing failure rates, and building a team culture centered on learning and accountability

Skills

  • 5+ years in DevOps, release engineering, or a related discipline
  • 2+ years leading or managing technical teams
  • Solid hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Salesforce deployment tooling (Copado or similar)
  • A strong grasp of release governance, change management, and compliance requirements
  • The communication skills to translate technical risk into business language- and vice versa
