Responsibilities

• Provide resolution to moderate and complex client inquiries via phone, online chat, and email
• Utilize internal product guides, support databases, and tools to identify, resolve, and escalate customer issues
• Record interactions accurately in the customer relationship database
• Identify and document resolutions for recurring inquiries
• Participate in product testing, cross-training on other systems, and process improvement initiatives
• Ensure the strict security and confidentiality of all product and customer data

Skills

• Minimum of an Associate's Degree (or 2 years of college education) in a business-related field
• Basic understanding of tax, accounting, and audit principles
• Proficiency in computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High commitment to customer service
• Ability to effectively diffuse customer complaints
• Experience with CCH tax software or Salesforce.com
