Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. WPS, a health solutions company, is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to support key financial and operational projects. The role involves performing reconciliations, managing financial information, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with CMS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Balance transactions, analyze and resolve any variances, and research more complex accounts, including, but not limited to, bank accounts, receipts, disbursements, and transfer of funds
• Determine and analyze irregular trends involving financial transactions
• Assist customers concerning payments or any other issues
• Process Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Agreements timely and accurately. Verify accuracy of submitted information. Contact providers, as needed, to obtain/verify required information
• Interact and communicate with internal and external customers
• Establish and maintain appropriate documentation associated with all procedures, policies, and activities and determine effective and efficient practices to improve current processes
• Participate in testing and/or implementation of system changes
• Other job-related responsibilities may be assigned as required

Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• One (1) or more years of experience working with accounting practices and procedures related to banking, financial accounting, analysis, balancing and reporting
• Demonstrated experience providing high quality work and meeting deadlines through prioritization
• Proven mathematical aptitude with a high degree of accuracy
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial systems; comfort with data entry and data validation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
