Dice is seeking a Senior Low Latency Network Engineer for a 100% Remote, 6+ Month Contract opportunity supporting a global trading infrastructure environment. The role involves designing and supporting ultra-low latency network infrastructure while managing performance and connectivity for electronic trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support ultra-low latency network infrastructure across global data centers and colocation facilities
• Manage network performance, connectivity, capacity, and availability
• Optimizing routing and switching for electronic trading, market data, and direct market access (DMA) systems
• Exchange and broker connectivity
• Network automation
• Troubleshooting
• Delivering high-performance, mission-critical infrastructure projects

Skills

• Financial services, hedge fund, prop trading, investment bank, exchange, or market maker experience
• Designed and supported low-latency trading networks
• Experience connecting to exchanges such as NYSE, NASDAQ, CME, ICE, CBOE, etc
• Deep Cisco Nexus expertise
• Experience with market data distribution and order execution systems
• Understanding of trade lifecycle and exchange connectivity
• Python or automation experience
• Experience leading infrastructure projects globally
