Responsibilities

• Designs and integrates mechanical concepts for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborates in cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing designs
• Creates and documents designs using Ceres or customer design processes and CAD systems; develops work breakdowns and project plans
• Maintains high quality through self-reviews, peer design reviews, and participation in cross-functional reviews
• Prepares presentations and technical documentation for engineering and customer design reviews
• Partners with other functions to define test requirements and build documentation to verify product quality and functionality
• Supports manufacturing during first article builds, integration, and standard production troubleshooting
• Identifies design and product risks and leads mitigation through prototype testing and corrective actions
• Participates in quality processes including DFMEA, PFMEA, and 8D, and actively supports continuous improvement initiatives
• Coordinates cross-functional efforts to support business needs; maintains professional customer interactions, participates in meetings, and performs other assigned duties
