[Remote] Medicare Sales Representative

The Medicare Sales Representative role involves sales coverage and market penetration for Medicare products, supporting enrollment processes, and facilitating access to health-related services.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospective enrollees and determine eligibility for the Advantage Medicare product
  • Apply policies and procedures related to the Advantage Medicare product, enrollment, and disenrollment
  • Build a presence in the local community to generate enrollments
  • Conduct home visits and personalized appointments to complete enrollments
  • Market Advantage at hospitals, senior centers, assisted living facilities, community events, and other designated sites
  • Understand covered benefits, non-covered benefits, exclusions, and exemptions
  • Assist members with accessing health care, transportation, and other relevant services
  • Adhere to marketing activity guidelines set by regulatory agencies, providing all required materials and documentation to enrollees
  • Monitor competitive products and marketing practices and inform management accordingly
  • Participate in telemarketing and outreach efforts as required
  • Attend sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and special events
  • Complete applications accurately and promptly
  • Submit reports on territory operations, product acceptance or rejection, and competitive conditions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all policies and standards

Skills

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 1+ years marketing, sales, or community relations experience, preferably with managed care and Medicare
  • State Accident and Health Insurance Agent License upon hire
  • Current state driver's license upon hire
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred; specific language skills may be required by some plans
