[Remote] Mid-Market Account Executive

They are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Market Account Executive to connect with potential clients, manage the sales cycle, and support account growth in the North American market.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for inbound and outbound leads within your territory or segment — from initial engagement to close, with support from Sales Engineering and Customer Success when needed
  • Qualify and develop leads using a consultative approach, understanding customer needs, technical challenges, and alignment to OffSec’s training and certification solutions
  • Proactively build pipeline through outbound efforts, follow-up on marketing-generated leads, and strategic outreach to targeted accounts
  • Educate and guide prospects through OffSec’s offerings, demonstrating how our hands-on, real-world training supports workforce development, upskilling, and security maturity
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Channel teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and support account growth
  • Navigate buying processes across commercial, government, and channel-driven environments — understanding how to sell through resellers, distributors, or contract vehicles when needed
  • Track activities and opportunities in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), maintain clean pipeline hygiene, and forecast accurately
  • Stay informed on OffSec product updates, certifications (like OSCP, OSEP), cybersecurity trends, and relevant frameworks (e.g., NIST/NICE, MITRE ATT&CK) to engage effectively with prospects
  • Bring a solution-oriented mindset to every interaction — whether it’s handling objections, identifying new stakeholders, or finding creative ways to advance a deal

Skills

  • 1–3 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in SaaS, cybersecurity, or technical training environments
  • A genuine interest in cybersecurity, upskilling, and workforce development
  • Experience working with or selling through channel partners, resellers, or distributors is a plus
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft)
