The OEM Account Manager will develop and manage account strategies focused on growth and customer satisfaction, while coordinating sales activities and resolving customer issues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface for OEM customers, building strategic relationships, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored account plans and training initiatives
• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share and margin, identify and secure new OEM customers, and propose recovery plans to address potential order shortfalls
• Coordinate with internal teams to align customer needs with business goals, share market insights, and facilitate effective communication across departments
• Monitor competitor activity, understand customer business drivers, and create added value through cross-selling opportunities and streamlined engagement with ABB

Skills

• Bachelor's degree (preferred but not necessary) with 3+ years of relevant experience, particularly in the electrical industry and with ABB products
• Proven ability to work with OEM customers, manage complex contract negotiations, and respond quickly to customer needs
• Strong in technical applications, proposal development, and use of analytical software and sales tools; Six Sigma or equivalent quality training preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with experience leading discussions and building strong customer relationships
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
• Six Sigma or equivalent quality training
