A growing South Florida law firm handling sophisticated litigation matters involving foreclosure defense, business disputes, landlord-tenant matters, commercial litigation, and related real estate conflicts throughout Florida is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant. This is a contract position, is part-time basis (20 Hours Per Week) and fully remote. This position is ideal for a legal assistant with prior litigation experience who is comfortable supporting attorneys in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple matters simultaneously. Candidates with experience in commercial litigation, foreclosure litigation, real estate litigation, or civil litigation are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with commercial litigation and foreclosure matters
• Draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, notices, and court filings
• Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and case updates
• E-file documents in Florida state and federal courts
• Organize and maintain electronic case files and litigation documents
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors
• Assist with document collection, case management, and trial preparation support

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Litigation Legal Assistant
• Experience with commercial litigation, foreclosure, or real estate litigation strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Florida court procedures and e-filing systems
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
