[Remote] Security Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BrothersTech is seeking a Security Analyst with strong Firewall and Network Security experience to monitor, analyze, and protect enterprise infrastructure from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with firewall administration, security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and network security operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events, alerts, and incidents
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls
- Review and implement firewall rule changes based on security policies
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts
- Perform log analysis using SIEM platforms
- Monitor IDS/IPS systems and network security tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities
- Analyze network traffic and identify suspicious activities
- Assist with security audits, compliance initiatives, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, and Cloud teams to strengthen security posture
- Create and maintain security documentation and operational procedures
Skills
- 4+ years of Cyber Security or Security Operations experience
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA / Firepower
- Hands-on experience with Check Point Firewalls
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP Networking
- Strong understanding of VPN Technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
- Strong understanding of IDS/IPS
- Strong understanding of Network Access Control
- Strong understanding of Security Incident Response
- Strong understanding of Threat Detection & Analysis
- Experience with SIEM platforms
